The 57th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade named after Kostya Hordienko (57th Motorized Infantry Brigade, military unit A1736) is a military formation of motorized infantry troops in the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the number of brigades. It is based in the city of Nova Kakhovka, Kherson region. It is part of the OK "South".
The brigade was formed after the beginning of the Russian aggression, in the fall of 2014. It included three battalions, which were also formed after the beginning of the war: the 17th, 34th and 42nd motorized infantry. In the winter of 2015, units of the brigade fought near Debaltseve.
In 2022, the brigade fought in the vicinity of the cities of Severodonetsk and Lysychansk, as well as in the Kherson region and in the city of Bakhmut.
The brigade is named after Kostya Hordienko, the kosh ataman of the Zaporizhzhia Sich in the 18th century.
