The 508th separate repair and restoration battalion was formed to support and enhance the combat capability of units of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine that are directly involved in combat operations.

The unit operates with specialized vehicles, such as heavy tractors with heavy-duty semi-trailers, engineering equipment, and performs tasks to move and evacuate damaged, military and special equipment to repair points located both in the execution zone and in the rear.

In the repair zones, specialists in the relevant areas carry out scheduled maintenance, training, repair and restoration of military and special equipment, technical means for the further execution of combat missions by units.

The personnel of the battalion are experienced specialists-professionals who are called upon to perform logistical tasks of strategic importance on a significant section of the front line.

We are announcing a fundraising campaign for the defenders of the 508th Separate Repair and Restoration Battalion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who are currently defending our land from invaders and are in dire need of a mobile workshop!

These mobile workshops are designed for maintenance and repair of various types of automotive equipment, including wheeled vehicles.

They will improve the capabilities and potential for repair and maintenance of armored and automotive equipment that Ukraine receives as military-technical assistance.

The workshop is equipped with the necessary equipment for quick repair of automotive equipment even in field conditions. The machines have tire mounting equipment, a generator, a welding machine, a starter-charger, a pneumatic system, tools and other necessary equipment for comfortable work.
