The 20th Operational Brigade "Lyubart" is a military formation of the National Guard of Ukraine.

It is part of the 1st Corps "Azov".

At the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation in Volyn, the special forces unit "Lyubart" was created.

In the summer of 2022, it fought in Zaporizhia and Donetsk regions under the name of the Separate Special Forces Unit "Lyubart". In the winter, it participated in the battles for Bakhmut. In the summer of 2023, it fought near the village of Kozachi Lageri and in the Dnieper Plains.

In February 2024, it joined the "Azov" brigade as the 5th Special Forces Battalion.

On April 15, 2025, the battalion expanded to the 20th Operational Brigade, and the brigade joined the 1st Corps of the National Guard "Azov".

The brigade is named after Lyubart Gedyminovych, the prince of Volhynia and Galicia.


We are announcing a fundraising campaign for the defenders of the 20th operational brigade "Lyubart", who are currently defending the land from invaders and are in great need of a mobile Locker workshop!

These mobile workshops are designed for maintenance and repair of various types of automotive equipment, including wheeled vehicles.

They will improve the capabilities and potential for repair and maintenance of armored and automotive equipment that Ukraine receives as military-technical assistance.

This is a ready-made comprehensive solution that allows for repair and maintenance of equipment in just a few hours, not far from the front line.

The workshop is equipped with the necessary equipment for quick repair of automotive equipment even in field conditions.

The machines have tire mounting equipment, a generator, a welding machine, a starter-charger, a pneumatic system, tools and other necessary equipment for comfortable work.
